I made these guys this weekend. They started life as a scarf and a yellow sock.
Finished the last of the Justice Socks of America – Batbear! His cowl can be pulled back. I made him to sell but I like him so much, I think I’ll keep him.
I made these twins from a big winter scarf.
So, this Sock Bear thing is getting out of hand. Have made a bunch more, including Green Lantern Bear, here. I made the other one from a big furry throw that my mother asked me to use. I know the proportions are a little… unusual. Anyway, hope she likes it!
Presenting: Boss-Eyed Bear!
Today’s experiment using proper toy eyes. Didn’t quite get the placement right but he was still fun to make.
I attend the launch event for SOOPERSWEET in R-Space, Lisburn.
A very interesting event with artists creating work, a DJ, and some very unusual nibbles!
Inspired by a friend’s sock monkey, I decided to have a go at making a sock animal of my own. These three are my first attempts. Not bad, considering I’d never sewn anything before in my life.
A couple of photos I took recently.
